Company Receives $313,000 in Fines Following Worker Death in Brampton

Two individuals from one corporation were convicted and fined after a crane that was being used to transport aluminum joists tipped over and the boom struck and killed a worker.

The company, Forma-Con, had been contracted by Bondfield Construction Company Ltd., both of 407 Basaltic Rd. in Concord, to provide formwork and case cement for the project, which was the Gore Meadows Community Centre and Library Complex in Brampton, Ont.
